Sasol China Embarked on its Fourth Year of Tree-Planting Initiative, Fostering Environmental Awareness in Youth.
In a commendable pursuit of environmental stewardship, Sasol China conducted its fourth annual tree-planting event on 16 March, 2024, marking a continued commitment to fulfilling the civic duty of afforestation. This year’s event saw the participation of approximately 70 individuals, including employees and their families, who collectively took a hands-on approach to contribute to the greening of the local community.
The tree-planting activity, held on a bright spring day, was a practical lesson in environmental conservation. In a world increasingly burdened by the impacts of climate change and industrialisation, Sasol China takes the small initiative as a bearing of its social responsibility.
A highlight of the event was the educational component tailored for the younger attendees. Children were given the opportunity to engage in a face-to-face encounter with the trees they planted.
