Sasol donates two mobile clinics to KwaZulu-Natal Department of Health

KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa – On Friday, 28 October 2022, Sasol donated two mobile clinics, to the Department of Health in KwaZulu Natal Province, to the to the value of R1,461,810.00 (one million four hundred and sixty-one thousand eight hundred and ten rands). The mobile clinics were received by the KwaZulu-Natal Health MEC Ms Nomagugu Simelane. This Donation is part of Sasol’s contribution to Government’s efforts to support communities that were devastated by the recent floods experienced in parts of KwaZulu Natal.

Mashudu Ndou, Head: Community Affairs said: “One of Sasol’s focus areas is to ensure that our communities have access to quality health care. Health care is a human right which should not be limited by mobility. Through this donation, Sasol aims to support the Department of Health’s community outreach of bringing Isibhedlela Kubantu (hospital to the people) especially since some of the community members are still displaced following the floods.”.
