Depois do lançamento da 5ª edição da Liga Sasol e o respectivo sorteio das equipas, realizado no passado dia 06 de Novembro, na presença de representantes das equipas participantes, direção da Liga Moçambicana de Basquetebol e a Sasol, na qualidade de patrocinadora principal da prova, os jogos desta edição já estão a ser disputados, desde o dia 07 de Novembro, no Pavilhão Desportivo da A Politécnica, em Maputo, com a participação de oito (8) equipas das três (3) regiões do país.
Lembre-se que a Sasol em Mocambique é patrocinadora da Liga Sasol, desde 2022, sendo esta 5ª edição, integrada na segunda temporada do segundo contrato de patrocínio com a Liga Moçambicana de Basquetebol, assinado em Outubro de 2024, no valor de 14.750.000,00 MT (catorze milhões, setecentos e cinquenta mil meticais), sendo 25% deste valor destinados à continuação da massificação do basquetebol na Província de Inhambane.

Launch of the 5th Edition of the Sasol Women’s Senior League
Following the launch of the 5th edition Liga Sasol and the official team draw, held on 06 November in the presence of representatives of the participating teams, the leadership of the Mozambican Basketball League, and Sasol as the main sponsor, the tournament is now underway.
The games of this fifth edition kicked off on 07 November at the A Politécnica Sports Pavilion in Maputo, with the participation of eight (8) teams from the three (3) regions of the country.
Remember that Sasol in Mozambique has been the sponsor of the Sasol League since 2022. This 5th edition is part of the second season of the second sponsorship agreement with the Mozambican Basketball League, signed in October 2024, valued at 14,750,000.00 MT (fourteen million, seven hundred and fifty thousand meticais), of which 25% is allocated to the continued development and massification of basketball in Inhambane Province.
