Sasol in partnership with The Education Support Forum (TEDSF) and National Treasury is offering training designed to foster expertise and innovation in South Africa’s growing green energy sector. This programme will offer two years of specialised training in the solar PV value chain.
Purpose
The initiative focuses on skills development, increasing employability and entrepreneurship in the renewable energy industry.
Minimum Requirements
- Be between 18-35 years old.
- Be interested in career opportunities within the green energy sector (especially solar).
- Be available to commit to a two-year training programme.
- Seek to enhance technical skills and employability in green energy.
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science or have a post-secondary qualification in Engineering or Science.
- Resident of the following municipalities:
- Govan Mbeki Municipality
- Lekwa Municipality
- Dipaleseng Municipality
- Emalahleni Municipality
- Chief Albert Luthuli Municipality
- Nkomazi Municipality
- Mbombela Municipality
- Victor Khanye
- Pixley Ka Seme Municipality
- Steve Tshwete Municipality
- Msukaligwa Municipality.
