Among companies that have benefited from Sasol’s comprehensive support is Extreme Thoughts, a landscaping company which received equipment, capital and administrative support form Sasol. After having gone through Sasol’s ESD programme, Extreme Thoughts is able to offer its services to the Secunda market beyond Sasol and now includes the Govan Mbeki Municipality as a client. The company currently employs three people, and a further 30 seasonal or temporary workers and has a turnover of R5 million per year.
